Measure the piece and the route
Record width, height and depth of each large piece, including handles or legs that protrude. Then check door openings, corridor turns, lift cabin and stair landings at both homes. Consider protective wrapping in the final dimensions.
Decide before lifting
If a piece will not fit, ask whether safe disassembly is possible and who will reassemble it. An external lift may be another option where access permits. Share photos and measurements with the mover before they plan the vehicle and crew.
