Preparing a washing machine for a move

Disconnect the appliance and drain remaining water from hoses and filter.

Use the manufacturer’s transit bolts when available to secure the drum.

Keep the hoses and small parts in a labeled bag next to the machine.

At the new home, level the machine before the first wash.
