The short distance from door to truck often decides the real workload.
Walk the route
Follow the entire path from apartment to curb at both addresses. Note steps, locked gates, narrow turns, low ceilings and stretches where a trolley cannot pass. Measure anything uncertain instead of relying on memory.
Share constraints before pricing
Photograph the entrance and possible stopping point, then describe any long carry. Check with the building if there are suitable hours for loading. A mover who knows the route can plan equipment and a realistic schedule.
