Start with the actual scope
List furniture, appliances and an approximate number of boxes. Give the pickup and delivery addresses, floors, elevator details and preferred date. Mention disassembly, packing or storage separately; a vague request cannot produce a reliable quote.
Confirm the arrangement
Compare offers for the same scope, not only the headline price. Ask for the arrival window, included crew and equipment, payment method and how changes are approved. Keep the final agreement in a message you can find on moving day.
