Fragile-item moving
Glass, mirrors, artwork and display cabinets need a different plan from ordinary cartons. The approach depends on size, construction, value and available protection.
Describe each piece
Send dimensions, weight and photos of both sides. Identify removable shelves, frames, fixings and any pre-existing damage.
Choose protection
Separate delicate surfaces and prevent movement. For unusual or particularly valuable pieces, discuss custom packing and transport feasibility before booking.
Plan vehicle placement
Never stack heavy cartons on glass or leave the item unsecured. Prepare a safe space to unpack and inspect at delivery.

Practical examples
Glass display cabinet
Remove shelves and protect the body from point pressure. Measure a mirror or painting with its frame and photograph corners. Use rigid protection and mark carrying orientation.
Framed artwork
Discuss surface and packing method, particularly when glazing touches the work. For an instrument, share model, dimensions, weight and sensitive parts. Check the route; post-move tuning is separate.
