Ask each roommate to list their own boxes and large items, then make a separate list for shared furniture and appliances. Label boxes with the destination room and owner initials. Decide who is responsible for items that will be donated, stored or left behind so they are not loaded by mistake.
Coordinate access, timing and delivery
Choose one reachable contact for the building and moving crew, while sharing the schedule with everyone. Confirm keys, lift reservations and truck access at both addresses. Tell the mover whether all belongings travel together or need separate drop-offs, and make sure each roommate knows where their essentials will be unloaded.
