Collecting furniture from a home, storage unit or family member changes the route and loading sequence.
List every stop and its access details
For each pickup, record the exact address, contact, available time window, floor, lift and the items collected there. Photograph oversized pieces and mark which location they belong to. Include delivery points too; the mover needs the full route and inventory, not only the first and last address.
Plan the order and confirm the estimate
Ask how the collection order affects travel, loading and unloading. Items needed first at the destination may need to be loaded last, depending on the vehicle and drop-off plan. Confirm waiting time, access arrangements and any extra stop in writing before moving day, then send an updated list if a pickup changes.
